Makehuman 1.0 Alpha 6
Probably one of the best free tools out there for aspiring 3D artists Makehuman makes character creation a breeze. The project began in 2001 and now 10 years later is still chugging along. Makehuman continues to impress me by staying free and open source.
The thing that makes Makehuman is intuitive is it's ease of use. Using blend shapes and sliders nothing could make creating your characters easier. And when it comes down to it, you can fine tune and adjust body parts beyond the blend shapes by a simple click-and-drag interface.
Such an amazing tool is a must-have for any blender junkie. If you don't already have it, get it! You won't be sorry you did!
Happy Blending!

Free Texture Library
This is a great place to get free textures. http://mayang.com/textures/ So far he has over 4000 free textures available for download. There is a limit to 20 downloadable textures a day, so be careful which textures you download. And to buy every texture on the website is only $33. That's .77 cents a photo! Talk about a steal of a deal! So if you don't know about this handy website, go check it out. And seriously, 20 a day is a good deal. It wouldn't even take you a whole year to download the whole website.
